Jaksha earned his J.D. from St. John\u2019s University School of Law in 1999 while working at Lehman Brothers. He also graduated with a major in Economics and a minor in Political Science from Hobart & William Smith College in upstate New York.\u202fJaksha worked as a junior associate with Dilworth & Barrese, LLP while attending Hofstra University at night, from which he graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry. While a Hofstra, Jaksha conducted research in food science alongside a professor, and they presented their work at an American Cancer Society student meeting. That same research resulted in a peer-reviewed journal of which Jaksha is co-author. Jaksha later worked as an associate for the Connecticut office of Cantor Colburn, an intellectual property law firm. In 2005 he returned to Dilworth & Barrese, LLP where he became a partner in 2012.
